Eternity - Eternidad

Eternity Hi. I am caming to tell you that today is the first day of my last month of life. I have been diagnosed with a terminal illness here in Paradise, and I have to return to the world of the living within a few days. Today they have communicated it to me with certain mistrust, and for being my first day I wanted to tell you that I am going to miss you, I am going to miss you very much. I still haven't prepared my trip. I just need a few things: intuition, patience, compassion and a good dose of love for the living. If only we could keep in touch. If I could have you close, there, on Earth, how different it would be! I will try to return as soon as possible, and see to it that no mortal disease ever separates me from you again. I will remember every minute with you. And when I come back, it will be so that we will never be separated. Eternidad Hola.

The Wall - El muro

The wall We went out together, not knowing it was going to be the last time, a summer afternoon. The streets of always seemed other, and the steep slopes that led to our castle, were conjured themselves to make the journey more amiable, almost perfect. When we reached the top, a kiss awaited us, and then the pale ghosts that inhabited our past manifested themselves and, weeping, began to build a wall between the two of them. The castle, atonished, did not know what to do. Its walls, stunned, tried to convince the new wall not to be born, but it was in vain. We went up together and down separately. The wall, more solid than those of the castle, had fulfilled its mission.

Handkerchiefs 11 It was impossible not to see that slender tower, the place where spirits were welcomed. Its extraordinary structure cast an immense shadow over the walls of the swangdoms, constructions which varied in shape and colour in the wake of the thoughts of the spirits who inhabited them. Thus, a multicolored space created by an endless number of swangdoms extended to the horizon, dotted with infinite colors changing the amber carpet that was the floor. The shadows that the pink light lent to objects and beings, were blurred until they disappeared when it came to spirits, so that his friend was not accompanied by any shadow. Tom entered with some apprehension when his friend invited him to go inside his swangdom, but as his eyes became accustomed to the warm luminosity of its interior, the peace that transmitted that living place reached the deepest of his soul.

Handkerchiefs 10 Tom never ceased to be surprised by the experiences he was living. His father had also warned him of the dangers of his desires. He should learn to control his desires, because they would become reality. Thus, Tom, without realizing it, remembered his friend, the person who saved his life and his companions and who was no longer in this world. He was again surprised by the ray of light that invited him into it. Tom agreed to his request and closed his eyes. Suddenly he was invaded by an intense smell of violets. When he opened them, he found himself in front of his friend, the one with the handkerchiefs. An intense emotion appeared in his eyes. Then he learned that this world is a place of passage, and that the spirits of those who leave it populate distant planets. The ray of light had transported him instantly to that planet where the perfume of violets and the pink light of the horizon welcome those who, like him, escape from the second world. Pañuelo...

Handkerchiefs 9 - Pañuelos 9

Handkerchiefs 9 It was a cold, rainy night. Katy was driving slowly. She was on her way back from the supermarket when her cell phone rang. She answered the call and someone told her that her uncle had just died under strange circumstances. Sadness and amazement. Without passing by her house she went to her uncle's house on the other side of the city. She remembered that they had not seen each other for years. Her uncle had always been a little strange, and she had never guessed why. She climbed the stairs to the first floor and two police officers flanked the front door to the house. Coming from the inside was the loud voice of someone in charge of the case. One of the officers entered to warn superintendent she was there, and then the superintendent went out and Katy told him who she was. Without a comment, the commissioner took her to the bedroom. Her uncle's body, covered with a sheet, was on the bed. Nearby was an open trunk and someone had taken out part of its con...

Handkerchiefs 8 - Pañuelos 8

Handkerchiefs 8 That was the beginning of thirty years of friendship. He did not confess to anyone that extraordinary and long relationship, and so that his friends would stay safe when he was passed away, he thought of confining them in a box in a post office box. During those thirty years he knew that they were extraordinary beings whose fundamental characteristic was the sacrifice for others and the importance that friendship had for them, something that is not often given among human beings. They lived at his home all that time, always trying to communicate with the beings on their planet. Meanwhile, moments of melancholy and sadness gave way to hope and kind confidences, to the extraordinary stories of their lives, far away, on that cold and dark planet, but at the same time, the planet was their sweet home.

Handkerchiefs 7 He ran down the stairs and approached the hole. Remains of primroses were scattered everywhere, and the land on which he had planted them had disappeared. Next to the remains of the flowers were metal fragments and bits of crystals. He could also see a small hole in the center of the hole. When he tried to enlarge the hole with a small shovel, he discovered that there was a corrugated tube that should not be there. When he tried to extract it, a very weak cry for help made him stop. He didn't know what to do when he saw a small being asking for help coming out of the tube. He thought he hadn't woken up yet and that it was all a dream, but his insistence on asking for his help brought him back to reality. He stretched out his hand and that being climbed up to his palm and told him that in the subsoil there were installations in which other beings like him took refuge. Handkerchiefs 6 - Pañuelos 6

Handkerchiefs 6 The poker game lasted until the early hours of the morning, and when the game was over, the host went out to say goodbye to his fellow card players. When he returned home, he saw a fleeting flash among the primroses he had planted a few days earlier in the garden. He did not attach the greatest importance to it. But when he entered the kitchen, he could see that part of the garden from the window, and the flash repeated itself. He watched for a moment and the flashes seemed to convey some sort of code. The beam was very narrow and headed for the sky. Although one might think that the light source was tiny, its intensity was remarkable. What it could be among the flowers emitting this kind of code and to whom would it be directed? The host, unable to go out and see what it was all about, tried to forget it and went to bed on the upper floor of the house. Next morning, he was awakened by a loud noise, or a kind of buzz. It was ten o'clock in the morning. He h...

Flowers - Flores

Flowers And were rained flowers and rivers of butterflies overflowed. The heavens came down to earth and the earth was, for some time, happy.

Handkerchiefs 5 The evening surprised Tom near the coast. It was the first time he had seen the sea. He didn't really know how he got there, but he was thankful because the show was extraordinary. The sunset over the sea made him tremble. He missed the black hills among which his father had built his house, but the contemplation of that sunset helped him not to feel invaded by nostalgia. Suddenly he looked directly at the sun and one of the rays stopped in front of him and invited him for a walk. When he entered the ray, it moved at the speed of light. Tom, clinging to the electric and magnetic fields, whose values was not changing over time, saw what was around him as a still photo. There was no movement of objects and the time stopped. His thoughts also froze. Finally the beam stopped at the same point where he found it, and Tom came out of the beam and thanked it. Black Hole - Agujero negro

Bl ack hole Without realizing it, a black hole found itself with a superblack hole and didn't know what to do to avoid it. The superblack hole when he realized the problem of the black hole told him: -Don't worry, the space curves where I am, but it also curves where you are. If you manage to turn fast enough you will avoid falling into my bowels and you will keep turning around me forever. He did and now there are two holes, black and superblack are inseparable.

Words - Palabras

Words If words could speak, they could tell us the secrets that make the poet's feelings, through them, penetrate the soul of those who listen. Words, made of nothing, elixir and poison, fleeting, broken, sometimes bridge and sometimes abyss. Expressions of the soul.

Handkerchiefs 4 The small beings that the owner of those handkerchiefs had found came from a dark planet. A planet that was crossing the outer space millions of kilometers from its star, and did not revolve around its axis, always presenting the same face to the star. Beings were living in it who used the energy of darkness to live. For this reason, they were concentrating on the part of the planet that was always hidden from the star. One of the space-time discontinuities, which manifested themselves spontaneously, had sucked those beings and moved them to Earth, specifically to the bedroom of the owner of the handkerchiefs. The difficulty of access to the wooded peaks protected the secret of the king of the mountain, Tom's father. His son had been conceived by an immortal woman, and the structure of his DNA was the secret that no one knew. When he was older, his father tried to explain to him his nature and the prodigies he could live. Pañuelos 4 Los pequeños s...

God's Tears - Las lágrimas de Dios

God's Tears And every human being was a tear of God. And God wept in Aramaic, wept in Muslim, wept in Christian, and wept in so many other ways that the forces of the Universe came together to make his tears the best of his work. And so his tears wrote the story that always should have been: they rained on deserts, they pierced the most barren land, and they made life have a meaning. The sad tears, from those who were suffering, also watered the earth, and also bore wonderful fruits. And God thought that his tears were what kept him alive, and then he discovered that the tears were him, and that they were not separate from him, and that everything was imagination, because everything, even him, will eventually cease to exist.

The Harbour - El muelle

The Harbour And they told me they saw her by the harbour. And they told me that she was asking for me all those who came across her. And they told her that I wouldn't come back, but every day she walked along the dock, asking, crazy. And I won't be able to come back to wipe away her crying, because I'm no longer in this world, and she knows it, but she doesn't know it.

Change - Cambio

Change When pain takes refuge in memories, don't let it escape. Cover the exit with resin and surrender to the present.

Handkerchiefs 3 Tom's companions, though well fed by the darkness and safe, did not stop worrying about him. They were worried because of him. They had always known that Tom wanted to get out of there, but they had never thought he would dare. Now they were trying to imagine what might have happened to him. They did not know how he was going to feed and whether he would know how to defend himself from all the dangers lurking outside. Tom was experiencing the first reactions to the sun's rays. He had tried to find places where there was darkness to feed himself, but his new state was beginning to change his body's metabolism. He needed dark less, and the light was beginning to provide him with some energy. That's what he was thinking about when he suddenly found the nose of a huge cat looking at him with inquisitive eyes. Tom's small size amused the cat who tried to hit him with its front paw. Tom's scare was huge and triggered his first transformation. ...

Handkerchiefs 2 - Pañuelos 2

Handkerchiefs 2 And Tom got out of his prison and ended up at the postal officer's home. The officer left his jacket on the coat rack and Tom waited until night to come out of hiding. He came down the sleeve of the jacket with some difficulty and slid down the wall to the floor. The snoring coming from the bedroom made him wince. He tried in the dark to find a window to go out through. Fortunately, one of the windows in the kitchen was open. He climbed up one leg of one of the chairs to the table and from there he reached the window sill and from there jumped into the void. The first rays of sunshine caught him asleep among the leaves of the vine that had cushioned his fall the night before. He began to feel good. Assuming that the owners of the house would appear at any moment, he moved away from there and looked for a place to hide from the eyes of passers-by. He was already beginning to experience the first effects of photons penetrating his body. His skin was changing ...

Handkerchiefs 1 - Pañuelos 1

Handkerchiefs 1 Thanks to the notes that appeared in the diary, it was known that these tiny beings were affected by the sun's rays. So once the introductions were made, someone closed the box. But no one had noticed that one of them had been left outside and had hidden in the jacket pocket of one of the Post Officers. He was a dissident whom the owner of the handkerchiefs, in his diary, called Tom. And according to the extensive explanation given in it, he had tried to escape on more than one occasion. Tom knew what he was doing. He needed a bath of sunlight for at least a day to transform himself into what he had always wanted to be. A genetic mutation had made him different from his congeners, who if they received solar radiation for a minute, the burns would cause them mortal wounds. However, and taking into account what his family had confessed to him, he might experience a spectacular transformation.
