Eternal Present And Buddha said to Einstein: —The idea of time is useful. It allows us to measure how quickly change unfolds around us. But the past and the future are something entirely different. They do not exist in the way the present does. They are constructions of the mind: memory looking backward, expectation looking forward. What we truly experience is only the eternal present.
