The Eye of God
In ancient Greece, in the garden of the academy, a philosopher, surrounded by his students, spoke about infinity.
The infinite is an abstraction of the mind. Surely we, the human beings arrive at this idea from arithmetic, of thinking of an infinite number of numbers. But the existence of infinite distances is only a conception of the mind.
"Teacher, if there are no infinite distances, what is the structure of space? Is there anything beyond space?"
"To think of the existence of something beyond space contains the same thought of infinity. It is a game of the mind. There is nothingness."
"But the mind cannot apprehend nothingness."
"Beyond the universes there is nothing. The whole of the existing is metaphorically called The Eye of God. Space is made up of light. The straight line trajectory is another invention of the mind. There is no straight line except in our mind."

El ojo de Dios
En la antigua Grecia, en el jardín de la academia, un
filósofo, rodeado de sus alumnos, disertaba sobre el infinito.
-El infinito es una abstracción de la mente. Seguramente los
seres humanos llegamos a esa idea a partir de la aritmética, de pensar en un
infinito número de números. Pero la existencia de distancias infinitas es solo
una concepción de la mente.
-Maestro, si no existen distancias infinitas ¿cuál es la
estructura del espacio? ¿Hay algo más allá del espacio?
-Pensar en la existencia de algo más allá del espacio
contiene el mismo pensamiento de infinitud. Es un juego de la mente. Existe la
nada.
-Pero la mente no puede aprehender la nada.
-Más allá de los universos no existe nada. Al conjunto de lo
existente se le llama metafóricamente El ojo de Dios. El espacio lo compone la
luz. La trayectoria en línea recta es otra invención de la mente. No existe la
línea recta excepto en nuestra mente.
