El traductor (II,
parte final)
En su mano derecha portaba un objeto hexagonal y en la
izquierda una pequeña esfera. Una lectura holográfica de la pieza hexagonal
mostraba el contenido, que tuvimos que desencriptar, de los detalles del
sistema solar Alfa Centauri. La esfera sin embargo contenía información más
general sobre el Cosmos, la materia, los objetos que lo forman y las
innumerables leyes que rigen su evolución.
A la momia la llamamos ‘el traductor’ porque a medida que
interpretábamos la información contenida en aquellos objetos, ésta se podía
descifrar bajo distintos lenguajes, unos desconocidos, otros ya desaparecidos,
pero la mayor parte de ellos estaban vigentes en la galaxia.
El hallazgo venía a confirmar la teoría, ya expuesta cien
años atrás, sobre la llamada ‘alienosis’. Según esta teoría, los seres humanos
somos una anomalía de alienígenas, una degeneración de aquellos que visitaron
la Tierra en épocas remotas.
Absorto en aquellas meditaciones, no me percaté del hecho
extraordinario que estaba teniendo lugar detrás de mí. Mi colaborador gritó mi
nombre y al volverme pude ver como desde el interior de las cuencas de los
ojos, dos luces brillantísimas preludiaban la aparición de dos seres ínfimos
pero con una prodigiosa anatomía humana. Con una nítida comunicación telepática
nos advirtieron que éramos sus rehenes y que no saldríamos nunca de la
excavación.
Estoy intentando dejar constancia de todos estos hechos en
un servidor astral, cuyo código de acceso figura en uno de mis molares, para
que si algún día nos encuentran, sepan lo que nos ocurrió.
The Translator (II, final part)
In his
right hand he carried a hexagonal object and on the left a small sphere. A
holographic reading of the hexagonal piece showed the content, which we had to
decrypt, of the details of the Alpha Centauri solar system. The sphere,
however, contained more general information about the Cosmos, matter, the
objects that form it, and the innumerable laws governing its evolution.
We called
the mummy 'the translator' because as we interpreted the information contained
in the objects, it could be deciphered using different languages, some unknown,
others already disappeared, but most of them were in force in the galaxy.
The finding
came to confirm the theory, already exposed a hundred years ago, about the
so-called “alienosis”. According to this theory, humans we are anomaly of the
aliens, the degeneration of those who visited Earth in remote times.
Absorbed in
those meditations, I did not realize the extraordinary fact that was taking
place behind me. My collaborator shouted my name and when I turned I could see
how from inside the eye sockets, two bright lights got ahead the appearance of
two tiny beings, size like a dragonfly, with a prodigious human anatomy. With
clear telepathic communication they warned us that we were their hostages and
that we would never escape from the excavation.
I am trying
to record all these facts on an astral server, whose access code appears in one
of my molars, so that if they ever find us, know what happened to us.
