Movement
Today I have verified what I had been intuiting for a long time. Light does not propagate in a vacuum. It's instant. The first attempts to measure the speed of light, Roemer's experiments in 1676, when measuring eclipses of Jupiter's moon Io, did not take into account that space is not empty. The same happened with the Michelson-Morley experiment, in which the non-existence of the ether was demonstrated. If they had carried out the experiment in a space filled with water, simulating the movement of the Earth, they would have obtained the same result. The problem is that the experiment cannot detect something that is undetectable: movement. Or put another way, light ignores what we understand by movement. For light, movement does not exist.

Hoy he comprobado lo que venía intuyendo desde hace tiempo. La luz no se propaga en el vacío. Es instantáneo. Los primeros intentos de medir la velocidad de la luz, los experimentos de Roemer en 1676, al medir los eclipses de la luna Io de Júpiter, no tenían en cuenta que el espacio no está vacío. Lo mismo sucedió con el experimento de Michelson-Morley, con el que se demostró la inexistencia del éter. Si hubieran realizado el experimento con el espacio lleno de agua, simulando el movimiento de la Tierra, habrían obtenido el mismo resultado. El problema es que el experimento no puede detectar algo que es indetectable: el movimiento. O dicho de otro modo, la luz ignora lo que entendemos por movimiento. Para la luz, el movimiento no existe.
