Earth had become a dangerous place to live. Ever since the solar flares caused thousands of deaths, it was necessary to look for or create an alternative that would allow to live protected from the attack of the Sun, which manifested dangerous phenomena of instability.

The desire of everyone was to be able to take refuge in Auronia, but very few could afford it. The rest had to live in fear of solar explosions at any time.

La Tierra se había convertido en un lugar peligroso para vivir. Desde que las erupciones solares causaran miles de muertos, había que buscar o crear una alternativa que permitiera vivir fuera del ataque del Sol, que manifestaba fenómenos peligrosos de inestabilidad.

El deseo de todo el mundo era poder refugiarse en Auronia, pero muy pocos se lo podían permitir. El resto tenía que vivir con el temor de que se produjeran explosiones solares en cualquier momento.

Dije que llegué en un momento especial porque el Consejo de Auronia acababa de aprobar el inicio de la construcción de otras colonias en las proximidades, incluso a mayores profundidades debido a la abundancia de Aurinas. Al parecer, a medida que se llegaba a mayores profundidades, las piedras eran más densas y podían generar más energía.

That was the ad that appeared in all the media. And it was accompanied by the image of a half-naked young woman with a captivating look.

I managed to get to Auronia in a special moment. As was indicating in the advertisement, getting there was not easy at all. It was a huge complex located fifty kilometres deep from the surface of the Moon. Since the discovery of the Aurinas, inexhaustible sources of energy generation inside the lunar surface, the complex grew and now housed more than a million people. The communications with the exterior were established by means of hundreds of transparent tubes inside which platforms driven by the energy of the Aurinas moved and each tube could transport more than one hundred people properly located in special seats. The generation of air was also produced using the inexhaustible energy of the stones that someone had baptized them with the name of Aurinas because of the aura they gave off.

Ese era el anuncio que aparecía en todos los medios de comunicación. Y lo acompañaba la imagen de una joven semidesnuda y con una mirada cautivadora.

Conseguí llegar a Auronia en un momento especial. Como se indicaba en el anuncio, llegar no era nada fácil. Se trataba de un enorme complejo situado a cincuenta kilómetros de profundidad de la superficie de la Luna. Desde el descubrimiento de las Aurinas, fuentes inagotables de generación de energía en el interior de la superficie lunar, el complejo fue creciendo y ahora albergaba a más de un millón de personas. Las comunicaciones con el exterior se establecían mediante cientos de tubos transparentes dentro de los cuales se movían unas plataformas impulsadas por la energía de las Aurinas y podían transportar a más de cien personas debidamente ubicadas en asientos especiales. La generación de aire se producía utilizando también la energía inagotable de las piedras que alguien las había bautizado con el nombre de Aurinas por el aura que desprendían.
