Benfold
Huntington entered the animal facility and hurried to the
glass urn at one end of the huge room. He was pleased to see that Benfold was
looking at him calmly. It was a toad of enormous dimensions.
When Huntington opened the urn, the huge toad sticked out the
tongue and caressed the Huntington's face. A yellow slime impregnated his skin
and Huntington experienced a very pleasant sensation. He thanked that showing
of love to Benfold and began telepathic communication as they used to do every
night. Benfold told him that some strange beings, of small dimensions, had
entered his property. They were harmless but had frightened the dog and then
they were going to try to settle somewhere else inside his house. Benfond had a
gift for seeing the future and knew what Tom's friends were going to do.
Benfold
Huntington entró en el animalario y se dirigió a toda prisa
a la urna de cristal que ocupaba un extremo de la enorme sala. Con satisfacción
pudo comprobar que Benfold estaba mirándolo tranquilamente. Era un sapo de unas
dimensiones descomunales.
Cuando Huntington abrió la urna, el enorme sapo sacó su
lengua y acarició la cara de Huntington. Una baba amarilla impregnó su piel y
Huntington experimentó una sensación muy agradable. Le dio las gracias a
Benfold y empezaron una comunicación telepática como solían hacer todas las
noches. Benfold le comunicó que unos seres extraños, de pequeñas dimensiones,
habían entrado en su propiedad. Eran inofensivos pero habían asustado al perro
y a continuación iban a tratar de instalarse en algún otro lugar. Benfond tenía
el don de ver el futuro y sabía lo que iban a hacer los amigos de Tom.
