Robbery
Katy
remembered when, when she was very young, her uncle told her about tiny human
beings. She had always thought it was her uncle's invention to stimulate her
imagination.
Now she had
encountered the reality of their existence and could not ignore them. Not
knowing how, she was responsible for their lives. That was what she was thinking
as she made her way to the post office to take home the tiny beings.
She was
near the bank when, suddenly, she heard the sirens of several police cars
approaching. The cars stopped in front of the bank. She approached one of the
policemen and asked him what was going on. The policeman explained that the
post office had been robbed and all the boxes had been looted.
She was
stunned. She thought of the little ones and wondered in whose hands they would
be now.
Atraco
unos seres humanos diminutos.
no podía ignorarlos.
