And Buddha said to Einstein: "The idea of time is useful, yes — it allows us to measure how swiftly change unfolds around us. But the past and the future themselves... they do not exist. They are inventions of the mind, illusions drawn upon the screen of thought. What we truly live is the eternal present — a moment without edges.
So, you see, time travel is a misunderstanding. The past and the future are not places we can visit. They are merely states of mind, nothing more."

Pero algo muy distinto es la existencia del pasado y del futuro; son inventos del cerebro. Lo único que experimentamos es el eterno presente. Así que los viajes en el tiempo no tienen sentido. Pasado y futuro son estados de la mente, nada más'.

  Sparks of Light Each of us is a spark of light brief as a blink, yet dazzling in its moment. Though it lingers longer than a flicker, even eternity must come to an end when the sparks awaken and see that eternity is merely memory’s invention. And then—beyond eternity— comes the eternal now. Time does not flow, for it does not exist. Only the eternal present remains, with no beginning, and no end.   Chispitas de luz Cada uno de nosotros es una chispita de luz. Dura un instante, pero es un instante fabuloso.
