The Dream of Time / El sueño del tiempo is now a book.

What began years ago as a collection of short bilingual stories published on Twilight’s Flash Fiction — Relatos cortos crepusculares has now taken a new form.

Thirty stories have been brought together in a single volume, combining fiction, visual interpretation and reflection.

Time.
Memory.
Identity.
Consciousness.
Loss.
Transcendence.
The perception of reality.

These themes appear again and again throughout the book, approached from different perspectives and through very different stories.

The structure follows the idea that has gradually become part of this project:

Read the story.
Contemplate the image.
Pause to reflect.

Lo que comenzó hace años como una colección de relatos breves bilingües publicados en Twilight’s Flash Fiction — Relatos cortos crepusculares ha adquirido ahora una nueva forma.

Treinta relatos han sido reunidos en un único volumen, combinando ficción, interpretación visual y reflexión.

Tiempo.
Memoria.
Identidad.
Conciencia.
Pérdida.
Trascendencia.
La percepción de la realidad.

Estos temas aparecen una y otra vez a lo largo del libro, abordados desde perspectivas diferentes y a través de historias muy distintas.

La estructura sigue una idea que poco a poco se ha convertido en parte esencial de este proyecto:

Walking Through Hell Hell is an infinite space and, in its endless hunger, it devours feelings and reduces the soul to nothing. Peace, always a blessing, hides behind the dense fog cast by hell’s shadow, until it disappears without a trace. Nothing escapes its gaze, cold as steel, nor its relentless designs. Like a black hole, it swallows everything around it and reduces it to memory.
