Memories When I went to live on Earth, I was surprised that only one star illuminated its firmament. I think that was the first lasting impression that remained in my mind for several days. I am from the planet Ast, which rotates following an orbit   with eight-shape around two stars and has a variable rotational motion on its axis. That makes the cycles of light and darkness not resemble those of Earth. When my ancestors went to colonize it, they found deserts and fertile zones, there was no trace of animal life. There were some types of trees and bushes. A long time has passed since then. Anyway, there must had been one or several advanced civilizations, because in the excavations that were carried out shortly after arriving on the planet, vestiges of constructions were found as well as skeletons of animals that by their morphology seemed to have been able to walk upright.
