I'm living with your secret. It is a constant thought. It fills me with despair. It destroys me. It turns my soul inside out. I already know that you don't know that I know it, and you look at me with that imploring blue gaze, to create an impenetrable veil between your gaze and your secret. But sometimes I think you know that I know, because you look down, and when I look into your eyes again I guess unshed tears and an infinite sadness in your expression.


Tu secreto

Estoy viviendo con tu secreto. Es un pensamiento constante. Me desespera. Me destruye. Me vuelve el alma del revés. Sé que ignoras que conozco tu secreto, y me miras con esa mirada azul, implorante, para crear un velo impenetrable entre tu mirada y tu secreto. Pero, a veces, tengo la impresión de que sí lo sabes. Porque bajas la mirada y, cuando vuelvo a buscar tus ojos, adivino lágrimas contenidas y una tristeza infinita en tu expresión.

  Sparks of Light Each of us is a spark of light brief as a blink, yet dazzling in its moment. Though it lingers longer than a flicker, even eternity must come to an end when the sparks awaken and see that eternity is merely memory’s invention. And then—beyond eternity— comes the eternal now. Time does not flow, for it does not exist. Only the eternal present remains, with no beginning, and no end.   Chispitas de luz Cada uno de nosotros es una chispita de luz. Dura un instante, pero es un instante fabuloso. Aunque dura un poco más que una chispita, la eternidad también agota su tiempo, desaparece cuando las chispitas de luz se dan cuenta de que la eternidad es un invento de la memoria. Y entonces, después de la eternidad viene el eterno presente. El tiempo no fluye, porque no existe. Lo que existe es el eterno presente. Y el eterno presente no tiene fin ni tampoco un principio.
