Change - Cambio

Change When pain takes refuge in memories, don't let it escape. Cover the exit with resin and surrender to the present.

Handkerchiefs 3 Tom's companions, though well fed by the darkness and safe, did not stop worrying about him. They were worried because of him. They had always known that Tom wanted to get out of there, but they had never thought he would dare. Now they were trying to imagine what might have happened to him. They did not know how he was going to feed and whether he would know how to defend himself from all the dangers lurking outside. Tom was experiencing the first reactions to the sun's rays. He had tried to find places where there was darkness to feed himself, but his new state was beginning to change his body's metabolism. He needed dark less, and the light was beginning to provide him with some energy. That's what he was thinking about when he suddenly found the nose of a huge cat looking at him with inquisitive eyes. Tom's small size amused the cat who tried to hit him with its front paw. Tom's scare was huge and triggered his first transformation. ...

Handkerchiefs 2 - Pañuelos 2

Handkerchiefs 2 And Tom got out of his prison and ended up at the postal officer's home. The officer left his jacket on the coat rack and Tom waited until night to come out of hiding. He came down the sleeve of the jacket with some difficulty and slid down the wall to the floor. The snoring coming from the bedroom made him wince. He tried in the dark to find a window to go out through. Fortunately, one of the windows in the kitchen was open. He climbed up one leg of one of the chairs to the table and from there he reached the window sill and from there jumped into the void. The first rays of sunshine caught him asleep among the leaves of the vine that had cushioned his fall the night before. He began to feel good. Assuming that the owners of the house would appear at any moment, he moved away from there and looked for a place to hide from the eyes of passers-by. He was already beginning to experience the first effects of photons penetrating his body. His skin was changing ...

Handkerchiefs 1 - Pañuelos 1

Handkerchiefs 1 Thanks to the notes that appeared in the diary, it was known that these tiny beings were affected by the sun's rays. So once the introductions were made, someone closed the box. But no one had noticed that one of them had been left outside and had hidden in the jacket pocket of one of the Post Officers. He was a dissident whom the owner of the handkerchiefs, in his diary, called Tom. And according to the extensive explanation given in it, he had tried to escape on more than one occasion. Tom knew what he was doing. He needed a bath of sunlight for at least a day to transform himself into what he had always wanted to be. A genetic mutation had made him different from his congeners, who if they received solar radiation for a minute, the burns would cause them mortal wounds. However, and taking into account what his family had confessed to him, he might experience a spectacular transformation.

Handkerchiefs Those handkerchiefs had been left in a trunk for a long time. Someone opened the trunk one day and found them there, immaculate. When they were picked up, a small piece of paper the size of a business card fell to the floor and could be read on it: P.O. Box 212. Code: poppy. When they opened the locker they found a very worn notebook and a small metal box. The first impulse was to open the box, and the surprise was to find some tiny beings in human form who euphorically greeted their saviors. The notebook was a diary, and its author had described in great detail when and how he discovered these beings, who fed on darkness, and his relationship with them for years.

Chiaroscuros - Claroscuros

Chiaroscuros Chiaroscuros of the soul are imprecise. Yesterday I managed to discover one of them, although I could only see it for a few moments. It was when your eyes entered mine, sweet, quiet and extraordinarily loving. The moments of chiaroscuro are those that outline the soul when the world turns upside down, when reality does not exist.

Sigismund - Segismundo

Sigismund The stained-glass windows of the cathedral projected vivid colours on the tombstone where the body of the noble Sigismund rested. He had fought for years against the tribes that wanted to enter through the northern border of Iberia. In the last raid, an arrow penetrated in his back and ended his life. That morning a mass was being celebrate for his soul. The moment the priest lifted the chalice, the iridescent colors that caressed the immaculate slab turned a deep red and took the form of a hand. The accusing hand pointed at the author of his death, Count Romualdo, his lieutenant on the battlefield. In his precipitated escape, Romualdo stepped on the tombstone of Sigismund, and the red hand stopped his escape wrapping Romualdo's neck. Moments later, Romuald lay lifeless on the tombstone of Sigismund.
