We arrived at this place a long time ago, the place in the Universe where souls lost like ours come to rest. And here, we have lived and shared almost everything. Your children—who are my children—chose to remain on Earth. This is an inhospitable place, I know, but it is our home.
Helpless, I spent so many nights sitting by your bed when you were ill, outside of time, not knowing how to bring you back. I still have you, although I no longer have you.
You are gone, and I am still here. Today, I visited your tomb, which is also mine. You are not here, but you are always here. You have died, yet you have not died. In spite of you and in spite of me, there is something that goes beyond us both. If returning is allowed, let us meet again in this place for all eternity.

Llegamos a este lugar hace mucho tiempo, a ese rincón del Universo al que arriban las almas perdidas como las nuestras. Y aquí hemos vivido y compartido casi todo. Tus hijos —que también son mis hijos— prefirieron quedarse en la Tierra. Este es un lugar inhóspito, lo sé, pero es nuestro hogar.
Impotente, cuántas noches pasé sentado al lado de tu cama cuando estabas enferma, fuera del tiempo, sin saber cómo recuperarte. Te tengo, aunque ya no te tengo.
Tú te has ido y yo sigo aquí. Hoy he visitado tu tumba, que es la mía. Ya no estás, pero estás siempre. Has muerto, pero no has muerto. A pesar de ti y a pesar de mí, hay algo que va más allá de los dos. Si volver nos está permitido, volveremos a encontrarnos en este lugar por toda la eternidad.
