The Unexpected

It was dawning with the star Sidha, while the star Rhon, more distant, was located on the other part of the planet. I had gone out with the ship to bring the algae to the groups of beings alnodes, with which they fed and at the same time fed the microscopic bisphos, which helped them to metabolize the living algae. Alnode beings provide us with the resources to neutralize poisonous gases that pollute the planet's atmosphere.

Surprisingly, when I was crossing the belt of soileus, vegetables that produce sweet and fleshy fruits essential for our food and which is located at a distance of several minutes from the surface of the planet, an object crossed the belt from east to west and fell on the amaranth plain. I diverted the course of the ship and approached the artifact that, motionless, had perched on the surface.

I inspected its interior using the transparent gaze and verified that there was no movement of anything living inside. But when proceeding to a detailed tour of its interior panels, some characters that I reproduce below were distinguished: Voyager II.

We do not know the origin of this artifact, but we will try to analyze everything it contains, to discover its origin.

 

Lo inesperado

Amanecía con la estrella Sidha, mientras la estrella Rhon, más lejana, se situaba en la otra parte del planeta. Había salido con la nave para llevar las algas a los grupos de seres alnodos, con las que se alimentaban y al mismo tiempo alimentaban a los microscópicos bifos, que les ayudaban a metabolizar las algas vivas. Los seres alnodos nos proporcionan los recursos para neutralizar los gases venenosos que contaminan la atmósfera del planeta.

Sorprendentemente, cuando atravesaba el cinturón de soiles, vegetales que producen frutos dulces y carnosos imprescindibles para nuestra alimentación y que se sitúa a una distancia de varios minutos de la superficie del planeta, un objeto atravesó de este a oeste el cinturón y se precipitó sobre la llanura amarántica. Desvié el rumbo de la nave y me aproximé al artefacto que, inmóvil, se había posado sobra la superficie.

Inspeccioné su interior utilizando la mirada trasparente y comprobé que no existía movimiento de nada vivo en su interior. Pero al proceder a un detallado recorrido de sus paneles interiores se distinguían unos caracteres que reproduzco a continuación: Voyager II.

No sabemos el origen de este artefacto, pero trataremos de analizar todo lo que contiene, para descubrir su procedencia.
